The new year begins with the appointment as primary station voice for London’s LBC 97.3 FM - London’s Biggest Conversation (formerly the London Broadcasting Corporation), London’s major news and current affairs FM talk radio station, new demos (some of which are available to listen to on the “Demos” page) and a concerted marketing campaign into Asia.

Continued to work with most existing UK, European and Middle Eastern clients. Internet searches, referrals and “word of mouth” resulting in more work from clients in those countries and beyond (see “Clients” page for new clientele).
In Australia, voicing (radio, television, on-hold, A/V, Documentary, Training and Corporate DVD’s etc.) for a number of local Perth based clients and agencies as well as occasional MP3/ISDN work with production houses on the East Coast.
Co-hosting “Reeling in the Years” radio programme broadcast on ABC Radio Perth and Statewide – a nostalgic look at the W.A. charts, news stories and events of any given year between the late 50’s and the late 80’s. Programme broadcast on Sunday afternoons. |

Acquired Prima 120 - CDQ 2000 ISDN codec - August. Early June, contracted to be main "voice" of "LBC London" (AM). Expanded existing voice-work base within the "GWR Group", and for independent commercial radio stations throughout the U.K. This incorporated the writing and co-writing of ideas for various promotions and concepts within each GWR station's format. Other assignments included the writing of “The Bogus Beatles”, a humorous audio package, accompanied by a booklet of information relating to Beatle songs covered by other (obscure) artists, “The Rock and Pop Diary”, a factual fully researched "week ahead" account of the events and music that shaped the 60's/70’s, written, produced and broadcast for and on "Classic Gold Radio", 500 rock and pop quiz questions compiled for the aforementioned radio network's £500 Fast Money "RAJAR" promotion, and various draft scripts for assorted production companies. |
