UKRD Radio Group – appointed station voice for 12 stations. HTV – appointed “voice” for West Country Television Network’s News identification package. Classic FM awarded Gold at annual Sony Radio Awards in the category “Station Sound“. Appointed “voice” for monthly audio report on behalf of the Environment Agency.
1999
Saatchi & Saatchi radio commercial “The Child“ (client Medicins Sans Frontieres) awarded Bronze Clio, Silver at the New York Festival and Gold at the IAA (Dubai Chapter).
Classic FM awarded Gold at annual Sony Radio Awards for “Station Branding”.
“Best New Zealand Produced Music Feature – KaC Countdown“ award at annual New Zealand Radio Awards as “on-air” voice (via ISDN). Continuity links etc.

Appointed “voice” of “Classic FM” – National Classical Music station, London.
1997
Represented in London by voice-casting agency “*Speak*”. Re-negotiated GWR agreement. Continued as one of the Group “voices”, but also became more available for commercial voice work on GWR owned/operated stations. Appointed “voice” of “Classic Gold” (10 networked AM stations).
1996
Acquired Prima 120 – CDQ 2000 ISDN codec – August. Early June, contracted to be main “voice” of “LBC London“ (AM). Expanded existing voice-work base within the “GWR Group”, and for independent commercial radio stations throughout the U.K. This incorporated the writing and co-writing of ideas for various promotions and concepts within each GWR station’s format. Other assignments included the writing of “*The Bogus Beatles*”, a humorous audio package, accompanied by a booklet of information relating to Beatle songs covered by other (obscure) artists, “*The Rock and Pop Diary*”, a factual fully researched “week ahead” account of the events and music that shaped the 60’s/70’s, written, produced and broadcast for and on “Classic Gold Radio”, 500 rock and pop quiz questions compiled for the aforementioned radio network’s £500 Fast Money “RAJAR” promotion, and various draft scripts for assorted production companies.
1995
Wrote The Classic Gold Continuous Countdown, similar to the “Rock and Pop Diary”, but more streamlined and focusing on mostly trivial aspects of the 60’s and 70’s on a day by day basis.
Continued to expand and consolidate voice-over work base within GWR network and with other independent radio, television and commercial a/v production companies. Relinquished full time broadcasting duties at “Classic Gold” to enable concentration on freelance voice-work and associated writing.
1994
Continuation and consolidation of previous year’s work.
Freelance work included writing, producing, directing and narrating various presentations for previously mentioned video company. Continued to present 2 til 6 p.m. radio programme on “Classic Gold”. More voice-work for GWR.
1993
Presented afternoon/drive programme on “Classic Gold Radio“. Other responsibilities included development and production of programme and competition ideas and features used across the “AM” network. Increase in voice-work for GWR. Began to undertake script assignments as well as narrations for various audio visual presentations, training films, documentaries and promotional videos for local (Bristol) video company.
1992
Moved to the U.K. Appointed presenter with “Classic Gold Radio“ at their Bristol site in south west of the UK, broadcasting on national network to a potential audience of one million. Also appointed station “voice” for GWR FM Group, at the time broadcasting in Bristol, Swindon, Reading, Plymouth and Devon.
1991

Producer, programmer, presenter “Triple J“ (Perth), part of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s national youth radio network.
Submitted poetry/prose for inclusion in annual Perth Arts Festival, Artrage. Exhibition critically acclaimed.

1990
Produced, co-wrote and presented series of National night-time programmes on A.B.C. for the network’s 134 stations.
Formed 5 piece comedy troupe, Cabaret Suaving-On, and wrote, played and performed live sketches (some improvised), skits & songs at various venues in and around Perth.
Instrumental in establishment and setting up of “Triple J“ (national A.B.C. youth radio network) in Perth.
1989
Appointed Music Director “A.B.C. (6WF)“ Perth – 2 year contract.
1987
Awarded second Australian Hi-Fi Magazine Certificate of Merit for “The Cream Story” (broadcast on radio station “6UVS FM”).
Presenter/producer of Nightshift radio programme, including the writing and researching of material, interviewing and creating various “specials” within the A.B.C.’s format.
1986
Appointed presenter incorporating various presentation/production and news reading duties for the radio side of the “*A*ustralian *B*roadcasting *C*orporation” Perth and Country Western Australia.
1985
Producer/presenter “Radio 6KY“ (Easy Listening) Perth. Wrote and compiled series of radio specials for evening nostalgia “*7 O’clock Special*” show and hosted evening Jazz programme.
Began freelance voice-over work.
Appointed “C” grade journalist at “*Radio 6IX*”, Perth incorporating reporting, researching, writing and presentation of prime time bulletins.

Drivetime presenter – “Golden West Network“ (radio) (AOR/CHR), Bunbury, south Western Australia. Also involved in TV side of network with news and continuity writing and presenting.

1982
Appointed breakfast presenter and production manager, and involved from inception with new radio station “747 – 6SE” (CHR) in the town of Esperance on the south east coast of Western Australia. Commenced professional scriptwriting – commercials, station promos, competitions etc.
1980
Awarded Australian Hi-Fi Magazine Certificate of Merit for “originality and excellence” in creating the programme “TIME CAPSULE” at University Radio Station “*6UVS FM*”. Worked on volunteer/part time basis on what was the cities’ first FM station. The format consisted of just about every type of music and spoken word which was possible to broadcast!
1971 – 1980
Late 70’s
Performed in various bands (part-time) as vocalist/guitarist. Full time latter 70’s employment as salesman/occasional manager with family owned office furniture company. Also worked in antiques department of same firm.
Mid 70’s
First started work for South British and United Insurance company 1974 as a clerk. 3 months later, began work with Crown Law Department of Western Australia in the “Corporate Affairs Commission”.
Final years of high school education in Perth, Western Australia.

Emigrated with immediate family to Western Australia.
